NFC provides great opportunity to meritorious bonafide students for practical training / project work to Engineering Graduate / Post-Graduate Students in various engineering disciplines (namely Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Metallurgy, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer) and basic sciences (namely Physics, Chemistry) and MBA Students (HR & Finance) as a part of academic curriculum in order to encourage the growth of scientific / technological Knowledge in the country.

In-plant training / Project work shall be only for one month duration. Project of forty five days duration maximum shall be given only on special case.

Eligibility Criteria:

Only students with minimum 60% marks in preceding year at college meeting the following criteria shall be considered for pursuing project work.

Degree Eligibility Criteria
Engineering (BE / B Tech) Completed 5th Semester and above
ME / M Tech Case by case basis & duration of 45 days to 2 months
MSc / MBA / MCA Completed 1st Semester and above

The students meeting the above eligibility criteria are selected for the Summer Term (400 students) and the Winter Term (200 students) every year on first come first served basis. Students shall apply minimum one month prior to the date of the training.

Applications along with student's resume have to be submitted through their respective academic institution on the institution's letterhead, indicating the details of the student including his / her academic record, year of study, discipline, specific period of project, signed by the Competent Authority of the College with stamp. The application may also include the areas of interest of the academic institution / student. It is compulsory that one of the employee of NFC should be local guardian for the student.

Note:

  • Accommodation will not be provided to any student.
  • Winter Term starts from November of Current Year to January of Next Year.
  • Summer Term starts from May to July of each Year.
