NFC is the only industry in India to manufacture Nuclear Fuel. The process requires many special purpose equipments which are unique to this type of industry. To meet the requirements of special purpose equipments, efforts are put to develop / encourage Indian vendors to manufacture the equipments as a part of MAKE IN INDIA.
Also NFC indigenously manufacture some of the equipments right from concept development, design, fabrication, assembly, control system making, documentation, testing, commissioning, qualification, etc. Also many automation projects are taken up in-house.

Also one of the End Cap Welding machine is exported to Turkey.
