Civil Engineering Division of NFC is a group of skilled and competent engineers who are looking after the design, construction and maintenance of NFC’s infrastructure of developed building area with special emphasis being given to efficiency and safety of systems deployed for developing and maintaining the infrastructure.
Every structure be it an industrial shed, chemical plants, office buildings, Hydraulic Structures, Waste Management Infrastructure, Residential and Assembly building utmost consideration is given for construction environment while choosing sites, planning structures and selecting construction materials to protect them from natural and environmental hazards.
Structural stability and health check up of building is carried out as per time frame and necessary preventive maintenance is carried out so that structure can perform well during its intended life.
For meeting the future requirements of Indian nuclear program, NFC is taking up various capital projects and CED plays a vital role in inception to creation of these projects.
The residential colonies are well maintained to provide a serene environment to NFC employees.
Green cover for the whole area including lush green gardens, trees along roads and in house nursery is maintained in the NFC campuses.
